Some Questions You Should Be Asking Yourself

What will happen to me when I die?

Answer:  You will be judged.
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment.  Hebrews 9:27

Why a judgment, aren't all people going to Heaven?

Answer:  No, only the righteous go to Heaven!
"And these shall go away into everlasting punishment; but the righteous into life eternal."  Matthew 25:46

How do I know if I am righteous enough?

Answer:  You aren't!
"As it is written, there is none righteous, no, not one.  Romans 3:10

What about all of the good things I have done.

Doing good will not get you to Heaven!
"Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us." Titus 3:5

If Jesus paid for my sin, am I automatically saved?

No, you must receive this gift by faith.
"As many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name" John 1:12

You mean to say, that I cannot make my own way into Heaven?

That is exactly right!
"It is the gift of God; Not of works, lest any man should boast." Ephesians 2:8, 9

Are you saying that salvation is a FREE gift?

Yes!  Because it is not earned it must be a free gift.
"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord."  Romans 6:23

If salvation is free, who paid for the gift?

Jesus did when He died on the cross.
In whom we have redemption through His blood, the foregiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.  Ephesians 1:7

How do I know He paid, and that His payment was accepted?

The resurrection of Jesus Christ proves it!
"Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day."

If you believe these facts of the gospel would you pray now to the Lord Jesus Christ and receive His free gift of salvation.  Then would you thank him for giving his life so that you would never be judged for your sin.
